FM42: Tell us something about yourself and how you started your blog?
YF: I’m originally from the Caribbean, St.Kitts, to be precise and moved to the UK as a child. I have lived in Denmark. Dubai – currently living in Switzerland. I love travelling, and enjoy good food. I’ve been toying with the idea for a while on starting a blog but for some reason or the other it didn’t come to life until last year. when out-of-the-blue, Aproposh was created. I like to read other people’s blogs so I guess I was inspired somewhere along the line.
FM42: What sets your style apart from other bloggers?
YF: I don’t really follow fashion! Don’t get me wrong! I’m up to date but I don’t think buying something because it’s fashionable is the right way to go. I wear what I want depending on my mood , projecting a little of my inner-self and what I believe compliments my body.
FM42: What is your favorite outfit that you’ve posted so far?
YF: I’m not really sure that I have a favorite as all outfits are for different occasions. I guess it’s where I’m wearing a black tail -coat -top and skirt – simply because it was a beautiful and warm day.
FM42: What spring / summer trends do you love?
YF: Powdery pastels and floral are beautiful for the summer months. There are everywhere to be seen right now. I really like the softness of it all. I love off shoulder tops and dresses. I will definitely be adding some of these pieces to my closet.
FM42: What do you think about Swiss fashion?
YF: Swiss designers don’t get enough credit for their work. There are some good ones out there. Unfortunately their designs are not easily accessible. I especially like Little Black Dress. They have some lovely designs and produce good quality clothes.
FM42: Who is your favorite designer?
YF: I’m not loyal to any one designer as there as so many which I absolutely love. This can change from season to season. Right now I’m loving Gareth Pugh, Valentino and Self-Portrait.
FM42: Favourite beauty product?
YF: Unfortunately, my eyebrows are non-existing so an eyebrow pencil from YSL is top of the list. I am using Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye rescue infused with coconut oil and shea butter. I really this product. Vaseline is always in my cosmetic bag.

Wonderful and refreshing to read about someone who though fashionable has the confidence to wear what suits and complements ie Yvonne wears the clothes instead of the clothes wearing her! Great and thank you for reminding us!
